Was in deinem Browser gespeichert wird

Deine Rechte

Who is responsible

AsterOrbis is a personal, free project by Bárbara Gutiérrez, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Contact: gutierrez.barbarita@gmail.com.

Calculating the chart

Your name, date, time and place of birth are processed only on your device. The page downloads the calculation program, the ephemeris and the list of places once; your data is not sent to any server to calculate the chart.

Hosting

The page is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., United States). When you open it, GitHub logs the visitor's IP address for security purposes. Fonts and illustrations are served from the same site. AsterOrbis uses no cookies of its own, no analytics and no advertising.

What is stored in your browser

The language you chose and, if you entered one, the access code are kept in your browser's local storage for your next visit. When you request a report, a random request identifier is also kept, with a cryptographic hash of the chart sent, so the report can be recovered if the response does not arrive; it is deleted when the report arrives and otherwise replaced on the next request. You can remove all of it by clearing this site's data in your browser.

If you request the written report

The report is written by a language model. For that, the page sends to AsterOrbis's own service on Cloudflare Workers (Cloudflare, Inc., United States):

The date, time and place of birth never leave your device. The service forwards this data to the Claude API (Anthropic, PBC, United States) and returns the report to you; with a code it keeps a copy for 48 hours only (see below). Under its current terms, Anthropic does not use API data to train its models and deletes it within 30 days, with the legal and safety exceptions described in its privacy center.

To limit the number of reports per person, the service keeps, for two days, a cryptographic hash of your IP address computed with a secret key: a pseudonym, never the address itself. Without that key the address cannot be derived from the hash; the key never leaves the service. It also keeps monthly usage totals (number of reports, estimated cost) without personal data.

Anti-bot check

If the page shows a Cloudflare Turnstile check, Cloudflare processes technical data from your browser and your IP address to tell people apart from automated programs. See the Turnstile privacy addendum.

Copy of the report for 48 hours

When you generate a report with a code, the service keeps a copy for 48 hours, linked only to that code and to a random request identifier, so you can recover it if it never reached your screen. It is then deleted automatically. It contains no birth data and nobody reads it.

Comments on the report (pilot version)

If you leave a comment at the end of the report, it is stored in the interpretation service (Cloudflare) with your access code, the date and the report title, so the operator can read it. Your birth data is not stored, and the comment is not published. You can ask for deletion at the contact address.

Voluntary contributions

If you contribute, payment takes place on Mercado Pago, which processes your data under its own privacy policy. This page receives and stores no payment data. The operator sees in her Mercado Pago account the details that the platform shares with payees.

Your rights

AsterOrbis does not store birth data linked to you; reports generated with a code are kept for 48 hours only. For any question about your data, write to the contact above. If you live in the European Union, you can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

What the report is

AsterOrbis offers a symbolic reading of the birth chart from the perspective of psychological astrology. It is not a diagnosis or professional advice, and it does not replace psychological or medical care.
